The international industrial exhibition “Expo-Russia Uzbekistan 2018” is being held at the Youth Creativity Palace, in Tashkent. 

Within the framework of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan, the National Exhibition of Turkmenistan is being held in Tashkent. Leading enterprises, companies and organizations, large business entities of the neighboring country are presenting their products and services, advanced technologies. 

Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan continued negotiations with participation of official delegations of the two countries.

In accordance with the Program of State Statistical Works, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics carried out a preliminary assessment of the gross regional product(GRP) of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city for January-March 2018. 

In January-March of the current year, 13.2 thousand new small enterprises and micro-firms (without dehkan farms and farm enterprises) were newly created in Uzbekistan, which is 3.1% less than in the same period in 2017. 

On April 19, the ceremony of commissioning the Kandym Gas Processing Complex took place in Bukhara region. 

At the meeting, which was chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on April 17, it was noted that a significant part of the total accounts receivable falls on the fuel and energy complex.

Preparation of cocoons of a silkworm three times a year is applied in Uzbekistan’s practice for the first time. The first season is planned for April, the second – for May, the third – for August.
