Poland's Polcotton will build a 10,000 tonnes of finished product, which will produce 10,000 tonnes of cotton fiber and yarn in Uzbekistan, according to Alonn Shonberger, vice president of the European Cotton and Textile Committee, Jahon reported.

The Minister of Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Khodjayev, told about the work on increasing the export potential of fruits and vegetables of Uzbekistan during his speech on March 28, 2018 at the opening of the international scientific practical conference “Increasing export potential of Uzbekistan. Quality infrastructure and assessment according to the international standards”.

A workshop on "The essence of ongoing reforms in the field of protection of the rights of business entities" for trainees of prosecutor's offices was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

As reported on the official website of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, International Trade Administration of the USA announced the launch of the International Buyers Program – IBP 2018, which is a joint government-industry effort that brings thousands of international buyers to the United States for business-to-business matchmaking with U.S. firms exhibiting at major industry trade shows. 

On March 29-31, the National Industrial Exhibition "Made in Uzbekistan" was held in Ashgabat. It brought to the attention of Turkmen businessmen a wide range of products produced in Uzbekistan.
