The President of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated the President of South Korea on successful holding the Inter-Korean summit on April 27, 2018 in Panmunjom, which became a truly historic event in the annals of Korean people. 

On April 27, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Qamar Javed Bajwa. 

A concert program of art masters of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was presented at Khorezm Regional Drama Theater in the city of Urgench.

Within the framework of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan on April 23-24, 2018, the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan signed an Agreement on technical basis for coordination of radio frequency assignments in 29.7 – 960 MHz radio frequency, used by radio services of the Republic Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

On April 24, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, in Beijing.  It was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On April 23, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Sushma Swaraj, in Beijing. 

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov opened Ashgabat Park in Tashkent.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Makhtumkuli street in Tashkent. 

The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the Mustakillik square.

On April 23, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

Delegation of Uzbekistan – representatives of the Development Strategy Center, the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISIS) and the International Press Club visited the People’s Republic of China.
