On January 29, 2020, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov attended a meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of the Commonwealth Member States in Minsk within the framework of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the CIS.

On January 28, 2020, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee – Executive Secretary Viktor Guminsky, in Minsk.

On December 23, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the Executive Committee – Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States, leading the Observer Mission from the CIS at the elections to representative bodies of government in our country.

On December 20, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the informal Meeting of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, in Saint Petersburg.

Tashkent hosted the first meeting of the Heads of Internal Affairs Bodies of capitals of the CIS Member States.

On November 21, Tashkent hosted a regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS member states.

On November 7, Tashkent hosted the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services.

Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received the heads of delegations participating in the Tashkent session of the Council of Chiefs of Security Agencies and Special Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Baku hosted the 77th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Defense of the CIS. It was attended by the heads of ministries of defense of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev.

On October 23-24, 2019, CIS Executive Committee held expert group’s meeting on finalizing and approval of the draft Strategy for Development of Cooperation between the CIS Member States in Tourism for 2021-2030. Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Commonwealth Executive Committee attended the meeting.

Ashgabat hosted the meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
