Draft Strategy for Development of Cooperation of the CIS Member States in Tourism for 2021-2030 is developed

On October 23-24, 2019, CIS Executive Committee held expert group’s meeting on finalizing and approval of the draft Strategy for Development of Cooperation between the CIS Member States in Tourism for 2021-2030. Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Commonwealth Executive Committee attended the meeting.
At the meeting, CIS experts finalized and approved the draft Strategy for Development of Cooperation in Tourism for 2021 – 2030, taking into account comments received from the states. It was decided to submit the document in the prescribed manner to the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States for consideration.
All materials of the expert meeting will be sent to the CIS countries for internal coordination.
The submission of the draft Strategy for Tourism of the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2021-2030 to the CIS Council of Heads of Government in accordance with the established procedure was initiated by the decision of the CIS Tourism Council Meeting on July 9-10, in Samarkand.
