Poland's Polcotton will build a 10,000 tonnes of finished product, which will produce 10,000 tonnes of cotton fiber and yarn in Uzbekistan, according to Alonn Shonberger, vice president of the European Cotton and Textile Committee, Jahon reported.
Polcotton will invest $ 60 million to create this complex. According to Shonberger, Polish textile manufacturers intend to increase imports of textile products from our country.
Zauber, Eco-Tex, Wamatex, Konimpex, Farotex, Karintex, Szwalnia and other leading Polish companies are ready to increase their imports several times. The reason for this is that the enterprises of your country produce cotton yarns, fabrics, ready-made sewing knitwear and silk products that are not only of high quality and well-known manufacturers of the world. At the same time, special attention is paid to the design of the product, the creation of its own brands in the world market, and the development of new types of products, he said during a conversation with the Polish embassy in Uzbekistan. According to Shonberger, European consumers are attracted by the fact that Uzbek textile products are produced from local cotton, silk and wool.
