The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development will host the 3rd International Forum of Guides “Silk Road: Cooperation without boundaries” on February 21-22. This event is dedicated to celebration of the International Tourist Guide Day.

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development continues successful cooperation with the Tourism Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Indonesia E.S.Margianti.

As previously reported, the State Committee for Tourism Development and Kashkadarya Regional Khokimiyat organized an info tour to Shakhrisabz. The tour continues.

In accordance with the resolution of the Head of the state “On holding the International Festival of Applied Arts” of November 1, 2018, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the State Committee for Tourism Development, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hunarmand Association, the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Fergana regional khokimiyat will hold the International Festival of Applied Arts every two years, in Kokand.

Chinese delegation of the United Nations Maritime and Continental Silk Road Cities Alliance Smart City and New Industry Committee (UNMCSR-SNC) led by the Secretary-General of the UNMCSR-SNC Jianbo Wu visited Silk Road International Tourism University.

The event is among the top five tourism exhibitions worldwide and annually attracts more than 50,000 professionals in this industry.

Acting First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan U.Kasimkhojayev met with a delegation from JLL and Uzbekistan Ajlan & Bros Holding (Saudi Arabia) companies.

The Mission of Uzbekistan to the European Union hosted a meeting of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov with the delegation of the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations (ECTAA) led by its Secretary General Michel de Blust.
