PARIS, February 24. /“Dunyo” IA/. Sardor Rustambayev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan in France, met with the mayor of Ruay-Malmaison, President of the metropolis of Greater Paris, Patrick Ollier. The parties discussed the state and prospects of Uzbek-French cooperation in regards to Bukhara-Ruey-Malmaison sister-cities, informs the correspondent of “Dunyo” IA.

As previously reported, on February 4-6, three charter flights brought 584 compatriots to Uzbekistan from China: 459 men and 125 women. All were placed in specially designated medical institutions to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Uzbekistan, to ensure a safe sanitary and epidemiological situation and protect public health.

On February 14, the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on establishment of the Medical Institute in Karakalpakstan was adopted.

At present, the Customs authorities, in cooperation with relevant government agencies, are working to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in our country.

WHO Regional Director for Europe, Dr Hans Kluge, held a briefing at the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
