Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan to be founded

On February 14, the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on establishment of the Medical Institute in Karakalpakstan was adopted.
According to the document, the Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan, as well as the Clinic of the Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan will be created on the basis of Nukus branch of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
The project is developed to further improve the system of training highly qualified personnel in healthcare for the Aral Sea region, improve the quality and coverage with medical services provided to the population of the region, ensure mutual strong integration of medical practice with education and science, introduce advanced achievements and innovations in the diagnostic and treatment process.
