President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulations to the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of the Chunjie Holiday – New Year according to the lunar calendar.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė in connection with the Restoration of the State Day of Lithuania.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Bukhara region on March 10-11, 2017, got acquainted with the project of creating a cluster on sorting and processing waste in Kagan district. Over the past period, the enterprise has already begun its activity.

Construction of these houses had started in May 2017 and will be completed in March this year. The residential complex consists of 39 five-storey houses, 1024 two and three-room apartments. Trade and service centers will be located on the ground floor. Apartments in houses are provided on credit for a period of 15 years. 

Youth under 30 make up 48 percent of the population of Bukhara region. A significant work is carried out on educating them as healthy and spiritually developed personalities, realization of their talent and potential.

On February 15, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

On February 15, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Vice President of General Electric Company Ronald James Pollett, who is in Uzbekistan on a working visit.
