President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits “Akholitrans” LLC in Kagan district

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Bukhara region on March 10-11, 2017, got acquainted with the project of creating a cluster on sorting and processing waste in Kagan district. Over the past period, the enterprise has already begun its activity.
The enterprise was provided with vacant buildings and facilities at zero cost with condition of investing. In accordance with the agreement, additional buildings were repaired at the expense of 1,6 billion sums, 5,5 billion sums were invested, main production facilities of the plant were built.
Here, a waste sorting line, imported from China, with a receiving capacity of up to 450 tons per day, is installed. Metal, stone, glass, waste tires, wooden boards, branches and leaves, waste paper, construction waste, plastic containers, fabrics and rags are sorted and processed. Briquettes, synthetic fiber, paper cardboard, textile fabric, burnt bricks, biohumus and other finished products are produced and exported from these wastes.
Not far from the enterprise it is planned to build houses for workers, trade and consumer services centers, an indoor swimming pool, a hospital, a sports ground, a parking lot, a school and a preschool education institution.
