In 2019-2020, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry will work with the Central Asian countries, in particular, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan to speed up the process of registration of pharmaceutical products. Requests to sign the agreement have been submitted and are currently being considered by the relevant ministries and departments.

At the meeting on measures to improve national statistics chaired by the head of state on June 1 this year, the issue of human resources was raised, and instructions were given to train and improve the skills of all specialists in the statistical system.

TASHKENT, 22 December 2020 – Jamshid Kuchkarov, Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and LI Yong, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) have signed a Joint Declaration for the initial period of four years (2020-2024).
