Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with the Chairman of Korea – Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea Kim Yong-ku. The parties discussed issues of enhancing interaction between businesspeople of the two countries.

The sides considered the current economic cooperation between the two countries and identified further tasks for expanding bilateral cooperation.

On July 2, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held talks with OIC Assistant Secretary General Ahmed Ssenyomo, via videoconference.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S. Umurzakov has met with the First Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Adam Boehler, during which they discussed prospects for development of cooperation in the context of strengthening bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the United States.

With participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a meeting was held in Namangan with khokims of the region and districts, heads of industries and public representatives.
