A solemn event dedicated to October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day was held in Turkiston palace, in Tashkent.

On August 14, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with scholars of Uzbekistan – Japan Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) intergovernmental project.

A workshop with participation of South Korean teachers was held at the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Managers and Specialists of Public Education named after Abdulla Avloni.
