As part of the implementation of the agreements reached following the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to New York in September 2017, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States, together with the representatives of a number of national universities, conducted a series of meetings and negotiations with the leadership of Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.

On July 17, a meeting devoted to issues of reforming and developing the system of general secondary education was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Tashkent hosted a roundtable on “Legislative and parliamentary control in the context of democratization and modernization of the political system: the experience of Uzbekistan”.

Uzbekistan’s schoolchildren won 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals at the International Mathematics Competition, held on July 1-6 this year in Bulgaria.
