Elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and local Councils of people’s deputies are also held in the districts and cities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan M. Yerniyazov visited polling station No. 42 in Nukus and voted for the candidates.
There are 2479 voters in the region, 52 of whom will vote for the first time.
