On June 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

At the beginning of the conversation, the Head of the state cordially congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his election to the post of the President and wished him great success. 

It was noted with deep satisfaction that the centuries-old friendly ties and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey are developing and strengthening at an accelerated pace. 

The heads of states also exchanged views on large-scale and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, current issues of regional and international importance. 

In conclusion, the Presidents reaffirmed their readiness for the consistent development of mutually beneficial cooperation in all spheres.
