Tashkent hosted an international workshop devoted to ensuring the quality and security of food products, peculiarities of new standards and the national experience in this direction. 

It was attended by specialists of the Ministry of Health and Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the World Health Organization in Uzbekistan, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Uzstandart Agency, the State Veterinary Committee, the Uzbekoziqovqat Holding company, food producers, as well as experts from Kazakhstan, the Netherlands and other countries. 

At the workshop, views were exchanged between the experts of this commission, leading specialists, information on the accumulated experience and practical work was presented.
