The description of the monetary units of the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, put into circulation in 1994 (was in circulation until March 1, 2020)

Banknotes of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan of 1 sum denomination of 1994 series are made on white paper of 120 x 62 mm size with watermark in the form of dark threads with octahedral pattern throughout banknotes. On the left side of the banknote throughout its width the security thread is located. The dominant colours of the banknote obverse and reverse are light colours of green pink. On the edges of the banknote a white framing mount is located.

On the upper side of the banknote obverse above the blue-violet ornament the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" with the dark green shadow is printed. Above this text two dark green threads are located where between two lines the thread with continuous micro-text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОНРЕС- ПУБЛИКАСИМАРКАЗИЙБАНКИ" takes place. On the lower, central part of the note set in a frame, on the green ground with pink edges there is a text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА ҲАММА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМАТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИЛИНИШИ ШАРТ", printed in 3 lines.

On the left part of the note above the guilloche pattern, composed of pink and violet hemstitch threads the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan of dark green colour is located, under it there is seven numeral numbers with two letter series of Latin alphabet of black colour.

On the right part of the note above the guilloche pattern consisting of pink and violet hemstitch threads a round ornament of green colour is located, in the centre of which there is a number “1" in the dark green frame, below it the numeral “1994" of dark green colour indicating the year of issue of the note takes place.

The reverse of the banknote set in a frame which coinsides round with the ornament and oblong oval filled by various patterns. From two sides of the central part of the frame there is located a violet ornament in the round overlaping with the round of the obverse. Inside of the frame on the pink-green ground the State Academic Great Theatre named by Alisher Navoi in Tashkent takes place.

On the right side of the note on pink background the fountain placed the square, on the left side of the note on pink background the number “1" in the ornamental design is are situated. Lower part of the design is green. The colour of the number “1" is violet with green threads in its centre. On the lower part of the note in the oval frames, on each edges the text “БИР СЎМ" is placed in white features with dark green shade. Near the centre in pattern rounds of green colour the ornamental number “1" is placed.

Between two rounds in the green frame, merging into pink on the left part an inscription in 2 lines “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИНИ ҚАЛБАКИЛАШТИРИШ ҚОНУНАН ТАЪҚИБ ҚИЛИНАДИ" takes place. In the centre of the obverse and reverse an anti-copy print in form “X" takes place. Under UV light on the obverse of the note in its centre the numeral “1", the note series and number of dark green colour, and the centre of the obverse and reverse with light green colour, blue and green fibers are visible.

Banknotes of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan of 3 sum denomination of 1994 series are made on white paper of 120 x 62 mm size with watermark in the form of dark thread with octahedral pattern on all banknotes. On the left part of the note approximately on 1/3 part from its edge over all width of the note the security thread takes place. Dominant colours of the obverse are red-brown and green-ochre. The reverse is of red-brown and ochre. On the obverse, in the central part of the note above there is the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" with red-brown shade, under this text there is an ornamental pattern with tangle of green-red-brown lines.

On the left part of the note over the guilloche pattern consisting of interlaced wavy lines of red and ochre colours the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan was printed in the dark red-brown colour. Below the Coat of Arms on the left corner of the note, there are seven numerals with 2 letter series of Latin alphabet made in black colour. On the right corner of the note over the guilloche pattern a dark red-brown octahedron takes place made in national style with decorative pictured number “3" in the centre. Below the octahedron, there is number “1994" in red brown colour indicated the year of the note issue.

Below of the note in the triple-edged form dark red-brown number “3" takes place. Between these figures in the frame of trapezium form there is a text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА ҲАММА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМАТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" in 3 lines. Along the sides of trapezium frame there is red-brown continuous micro-text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОНРЕСПУБЛИКА- СИМАРКАЗИЙБАНКИ". Below un-der the frame 2 mm stripe is through the length of the note. On the reverse of the banknote in the middle of the right and left parts of the frame there are 2 white hexahedrons with green ornament inside with effect of combination with the obverse hexahedron.

In the centre of the note in the ochre space the historical monument of architecture “Chashmayi Ayub" in Bukhara is pictured. On the left part of the note in the orange ornamental frame with guilloche threads the decorative number “3" of green colour with dark red-brown shade is placed. In the lower corner of the right part of the note the decorative number “3" of orange colour with green shade is placed. On the lower part of the frame divided by inclined stripes into three parts there is the text “УЧ СЎМ" placed on the red-brown ground. In the middle inclined rectangular frame on the ochre ground the inscription “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИНИ ҚАЛБАКИЛАШТИРИШ ҚОНУНАН ТАЪҚИБ ҚИЛИНАДИ" takes place.

In the central part on the obverse and reverse there is an anti-copy print in form “X". Under UV light on the obverse of the note in the centre the number “3", guilloche rosette of ochre colour, note series and number in dark green colour, and in the centre of the reverse the details made by ochre paint, green and blue fibers are visible.

Banknotes of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan of 5 sum denomination of 1994 series are made on white paper of 142 x 69 mm size. On wide white space on right side of the note there is a local watermark with picture of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the left side of the note through its width a security thread consisting of repeated white colour text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН" with interchanging direct and inclined letters is pressed. The dominant colours of the obverse are blue and red-brown, and of the reverse are blue, green and violet. In the central part of the note over the architectural fragment of the tower “Minorai Kalon" in Bukhara on white round background the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan made in blue colour is placed.

On both sides of the Coat of Arms in ornamental pattern of geometrical form 2 birds “Simurg" of blue-white coloured are pictured, under the Coat of Arms on the background of architectural detail a decorative number “5" in white colour with dark blue shade is pictured, and under it there is the text “БЕШ СЎМ" in white colour with dark-blue shade. Between the numerals of “5" in the medium frame of ochre colour, there is the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА ҲАММА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМАТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИ-ЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" in blue colour which written in 2 lines. In the lower right part of the note there is an ornament in the middle of which on the green background of the rosette white coloured numeral “5" takes place mounted by light-brown line. Above the rosette there are light-brown coloured numerals “1994" meaning the year of the note specimen issue.

Between two red-blue coloured strips of both sides of the gene-ral frame the continuous micro text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОНРЕСПУБЛИКАСИ- МАРКАЗИЙБАНКИ" of blue-red colour is located which can be seen with a magnifier. On the ground central part of the note on sky-blue hemstitch geometrical background, on both sides of the tower “Minorai Kalon" there are two numerals “5" made by hidden printing and seen under the refraction of sunbeams or shafts of light. On the left frame of the note on its upper part and on the right frame on lower part, there are seven numeral numbers with 2 letter series of Latin alphabet made by black colour.

On the reverse of the note it is represented architectural and sculptural composition of A.Navoi monument, placed in the National Park of Tashkent. Monument is made by blue on the background of light-blue sky merging in the middle into lilac. In the corners of lower part of the picture inside of the frame, two blue coloured ornamental rosettes are located in the middle of which white number “5" with linear blue edging is printed. Between them ochre coloured frame is located in which the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИНИ ҚАЛБАКИЛАШТИРИШ ҚОНУНГА МУВОФИҚ ТАЪҚИБ ҚИЛИНАДИ" takes place in two lines.

In the centre of the note an anti-copy print in the form “X" is embedded. Under ultraviolet rays on the obverse of the note in its centre the numeral “5", in the central frame - light-ochre colour, note series and number in dark green, and on the reverse in the centre of the lower part - light-ochre coloured details are visible.

On the left side of the note over all its width a security thread consisting of repeated white coloured text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН" with interchanging direct and inclined letters is pressed. Dominant colours of the note on the obverse are violet, light violet, dark blue, sky blue and ochre, and on the reverse of the note are dark blue, sky blue, violet and reddish brown.

On the obverse of the note in the centre of the upper part of the note in the blue frame a text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" is which made by white colour with the dark-blue shade, below on wight round background there is the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan of dark-blue colour, under it the number “10" is and lower there is the text “ЎН СЎМ". In the lower part of the note a narrow frame with light ochre lines and with dark violet coloured text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА ҲАММА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМАТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" takes place in one line. On the right lower part of the note an ornamental rosette of blue and ochre green colour is located in the centre of which the decorative numeral “10" is, which made by white colour on the blue ground. Above this rosette the numeral “1994" is, indicating the year of the note issue. Lower external side of the left and right frames is fringed by violet lines made with micro-text of “ЎЗБЕ- КИСТОНРЕСПУБЛИКАСИМАРКА- ЗИЙБАНКИ" which can be seen with a magnifier.

In the central frame of the note on the right and left lower corners on the pattern ground of the ornament the numeral “10" is located made with hidden printing and which can be seen under refraction of sunbeams and shafts of light. On the left frame of the note in its upper and on the right frame in its lower part seven numerals number with 2 letters series of Latin alphabet are made with black colour.

On the reverse in the ornamental frame of blue colour merging into violet the historical-architectural monument of the Timurid's Mausoleum (Guri Amir) in Samarkand with the violet cupola is, the portal part of the architecture is made in light ochre and light brown tones. On the right upper corner on the background of a tree a numeral “10" is printed and under it white coloured text “ЎН СЎМ" with blue shade is located.

In the lower corner of the frame there are 2 rosettes of blue colour, in the centre of which the white numeral “10" with dark blue shade is located, between the rosettes the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИНИ ҚАЛБАКИЛАШТИРИШ ҚОНУНГА МУВОФИҚ ТАЪҚИБ ҚИЛИНАДИ" takes place in 2 lines. In the centre of the note an anti-copy print in the form of “X" is embedded.

Under UV ray in the centre of the note obverse the numeral “10", in the lower right corner - a golden coloured ornament, on the left side of the note - the rosettes of ochre colour, the note series and number in dark green colour, and on the reverse - monument details made by light ochre colours, blue and green fibers are visible.

On the left side of the note over all its width a security thread consisting of the repeated white coloured text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН" with interchanging direct and inclined letters is pressed. Dominant colours of the note on the obverse are dark blue, blue green, violet brown and green. On the reverse of the note are blue violet and light brown.

On the dark-blue background on central upper part of the note obverse the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" of white colour with dark-blue shade is located. Under it a Coat of Arms takes place on the yellow linear ground swelled by blue-green round ornament. Lower a decorative numeral “25" is printed and under it there is a text “ЙИГИРМА БЕШ СЎМ" in two lines. Between two numerals “25" a rectangle frame takes place, and in it on the light-green ground a text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА ҲАММА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМАТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИ-ЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" is placed. There are the numerals “1994" of ochre brown colour indicating the year of the banknote issue above the rosette in the lower right part.

There are the numerals “25" in the central part of the note on the pattern ground on the both sides from the Coat of Arms which are made by hidden printing and visible under refraction of sunbeams or shafts of light. On the left frame of the note in its upper part and on the right frame on its lower part under the rosette seven-numeral number with two letter series of Latin alphabet made up by black are printed. The wide white area of the note is edged from the left and right with micro text of “ЎЗБЕКИСТОНРЕСПУБЛИ- КАСИМАРКАЗИЙБАНКИ".

On the reverse of the note, on its right part swelled by ornamental frame the architectural ensemble “Shohi Zinda" in Samarkand is pictured. On the lower part of the note there is a text in two lines “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИНИ ҚАЛБАКИЛАШТИРИШ ҚОНУНАН ТАЪҚИБ ҚИЛИНАДИ" made up of green colour on the ochre ground merging into tender blue colour. Two texts in two lines “ЙИГИРМА БЕШ СЎМ" in light tones and numeral “25" are symmetrically located.

On the ground of sky an anti-copy print in the form of “X" is printed.Under UV light in the centre of the obverse the Coat of Arms, the numerals “25", light ochre coloured edge of the ornamental ground of the left part of the frame and yellow coloured elements in the form of petals, the note series and number in dark green, and on the reverse - light ochre coloured architectural details, blue and green fibers are visible.

Banknotes of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan of 50 sum denomination of 1994 series are made on white paper of 142 x 69 mm size. On wide white space on the right side of the note there is a local watermark with picture of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the left side of the note over all its width a security thread consisting of repeated white coloured text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН" with interchanging direct and inclined letters is pressed.

Dominant colours of the note on the obverse are dark brown, red orange, yellow and silver and on the reverse are light brown, brown, light blue, light violet and light green. On the obverse of the note in the central upper part of the note white coloured text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" with the dark brown shade is located. In the centre of the note there is an ornament in the form of Bukhara gold-sewing weaving of silver colour in the centre of the brown ground on the gold ground.

On the upper part of the ornament a dark brown coloured Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan is located, around it there is a picture of obliquely located brown lines on the round, below the Coat of Arms the decorative numeral “50" is located, below it in the frame on the ground of light brown points and lines a text of light tone colour “ЭЛЛИК СЎМ" with dark brown shade takes place in two lines. On the lower part the text made up on the yellow background in dark brown colour “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА ҲАМ-МА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМА-ТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" is located.

The text is swelled by fine frame, the upper part of which consists of the line made up of micro-text in the form of dark-brown coloured repeated text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОНРЕСПУБЛИКАСИ- МАРКАЗИЙБАНКИ", visible under a magnifier. On the wide white area of the note above the rosette there is the numeral “1994" indicating the year of note issue.

There are numerals “50" made up with hidden printing in the central part of the note on the right and left corners which are visible under refraction of sunbeams or shafts of light. On the left frame of the note on its upper part and on the right frame on its lower part under the rosette the seven numerals number with two letter series of the Latin alphabet made up in black colour are located. On the reverse of the note in the specific frame in the form of intricate lines the historical architectural ensemble “Registon" in Samarkand takes place.

The upper part of the frame has an intricate picture of different configurations, in the centre of which the text “ЭЛЛИК СЎМ" made up in white colour with the dark brown shade is.

In the central part in the hem-stitch frame there is a white thread in the form of a frame, in which a text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИНИ ҚАЛБАКИЛАШТИРИШ ҚОНУНГА МУВОФИҚ ТАЪҚИБ ҚИЛИНАДИ" of brown colour is printed. There is an anti-copy print in the form of “X" in the centre of the note on the sky background.

Under UV light in the centre of the obverse - the numerals “50", on the left side of the note - a coloured yellow ground, below - the ornaments of white-blue colour, in the right above and below - the ornaments of yellow colour, the note series and number of dark green colour, and on the reverse – architectural monument details made up in yellow green colours, blue and green threads are visible.

On wide white space on the right side of the note there is a local watermark with picture of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the left side of the note over all its width a security thread consisting of repeated white coloured text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН" with interchanging direct and inclined letters is pressed.

Dominant colours of the obverse are dark violet, blue green, ochre gold and light pink, and of the reverse are violet and light blue green.

There is text of light tone “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" with the dark violet shade in the upper part of the central frame on the dark violet thread. Under it on the light round ground the dark blue green coloured Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan is located, under which in the central part of the note a decorative numeral “100" is printed in the light outline with the dark violet shade. In the central part of the note on the light violet, green violet and gold pattern ground there is lock part of a bracelet which is completed by figures of mythical animals with wings - “Griffons", heads of which adjoin the Coat of Arms. There is a light ochre tone inscription “ЮЗ СЎМ" with the dark gold shade in the lower part of the bracelet. From bellow to the centre in the form of pyramid there is light dark gold pattern ground, in the pyramid the numeral “100" made by hidden printing takes place which can be vi-sible under refraction of sunbeams or shafts of light.

In the lower part of the note the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА БАР-ЧА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМА-ТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" is located, made up in dark gold colour. There is the numeral “1994", indicating the year of note specimen issue on the lower right part of the note above the rosette. On both sides within frame the vertical lines of dark violet colours made up by micro printing text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН- РЕСПУБЛИКАСИМАРКАЗИЙ- БАНКИ" are located which can be red under the magnifier.

On the left part over all width of the note a security thread is pressed, and there are the mythical decorative birds fixed their eyes to different directions in the rings contiguous to each other in the form of eight.

On the left and right parts of the note seven numerals number with two letter series of Latin alphabet made up of black colour takes place.

On the reverse of the banknote the architectural ensemble of the Palace “Istiqlol" in Tashkent is pictured. Below in yellow violet tones the words “ЮЗ СЎМ" with the dark violet shade take place. In the centre of the lower part of the frame under the text “ЮЗ СЎМ" in the frame with the light yellow background the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИНИ ҚАЛБАКИЛАШТИРИШ ҚОНУНГА МУВОФИҚ ТАЪҚИБ ҚИЛИНАДИ" of dark violet colour is located. There is an anti-copy print in the form of “X" in the right and left lower part of the note.

Under UY light in the centre of the obverse the numeral “100", the bracelet, light violet tone, and in the lower part of the note - a light ochre thread, in the top - the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ", on the left top part and at the foot of the right part of the note - the series and number of the note in dark green, and on the reverse on the central part of the note - the picture of the Palace, the frame in form of octahedral pattern, words “ЮЗ СЎМ" on the light yellow stripe with blue and green fibers are visible.


Banknotes description of the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued in 1997 (was in circulation until Jule 1, 2020)

Banknotes of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan of 200 sum denomination of 1997 series are made on white paper of 142 x 69 mm size. On wide white space on the right side of the note there is a local watermark with picture of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the left side of the obverse of the note there is a narrow white space in the form of band of 3-4 mm width, and on the reverse on the right part as a band of 5 mm width.

Over all its width nearly the centre of the note a security metallized polyester thread of 1,2 mm width consis-ting of repeated white coloured text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН" with interchanging direct and inclined letters is pressed.

Dominant colours of the obverse are green-yellow, violet-brown and on the reverse are green-dark blue-ochre. On the upper part of the note obverse on the dark violet thread there is a text of white tone “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ". Under it in ornamental frame the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan is. On the lower middle part of the note there is the seven numerals number with two letter series of Latin alphabet made up in black colour with added special magnetic ink. Such number is on the left part of the note, but with added fluorescent ink while prin-ting.

In the lower part of the note in the centre on the ornamental element background there are inscriptions “200" and “СЎМ" of different colour located on each other. On the lower part of the note the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА БАРЧА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМАТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" is. The ornamental element of the note are octahedrons, lo-wer frame, the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" which made using metallographic printing that gives sensation of thickness of ink while touching with the banknote by tips of the fingers. On the lower part of ornamental frame on the left there are a lot of fine lines, at the definite angle of which the number “200" can be seen.

On the right lower part of the note on the wide white space under the series and number of the note there is the number «200», underlined by continuous micro-text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОНРЕСПУБЛИКАСИ- МАРКАЗИЙБАНКИ", which can be red under the magnifier. On the upper part there is the rosette printed by special security ink, which changes its colour tint depending on vision angle and have tints from green to red; and above it the numeral “1997" takes place which indicates the year of the note issue.

On the obverse of the note, in the area of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uz¬bekistan in three rows one under another the numerals “200" of various height, over all paper the green and blue fibres in chaotic manner, the note series and number in dark green are visible under UV light.

Banknotes description of the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued in 1999 (was in circulation until Jule 1, 2020)

Banknotes of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in 500 sum denomination of 1999 series are made on white paper of 144х78 mm. size. On wide white field on the right side of the banknote there is a local watermark with picture of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the left part of the banknote there is a narrow white field in the form of the belt of 4 mm width. Almost through the centre of the bank-note a security metallized polyester thread of 1,2 mm width is located with continuous white colour micro-text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН" with interchange of direct and inversion location of the letters.

Dominant colours of the obverse are light green, cherry blossom, dark red, violet and dominant colours of the reverse are dark red, green and blue. On the obverse of the banknote on the upper part on the dark violet belt there is a text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ" in a light tone with dark violet shadow. On the left part of the banknote against a background of several multicoloured guilloche rosettes the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan is placed. On the right side there are elements of ornament in the form of polyhedron with acute angles. On the left a little above the Coat of Arms there is an ornament in the form of quadrangles which coincides with the picture on reverse of the banknote. Under the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan there is the seven numeral numbers with the two letter series in Latin.

The same number and series, drawn in black colour with addition of special magnetic colour, are duplicated on the lower right part of the banknote on white field. On the right lower part of the picture, inside of ornamental frame the denomination of the banknote is depicted by the numbers “500" in light lilac colour, on which it is written “СЎМ" with big letters in dark red colour.

On the left and right lower corners of the banknote the denomination of the banknote is depicted by the numbers “500" in dark blue colour. Under the ornamental frame of dark red colour in the quadrangle the text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН СЎМИ РЕСПУБЛИКА ҲУДУДИДА ҲАММА ТЎЛОВЛАР УЧУН ЎЗ ҚИЙМАТИ БЎЙИЧА ҚАБУЛ ҚИЛИНИШИ ШАРТ" is written in one line. The ornamental frame of the bank-note, the inscription “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙ БАНКИ", the Coat of Arms, numbers “500" located on the left and right side, as well as ornament placed on the upper part of the wide white field of the banknote are made using me- tallographic printing that gives sensation of thickness of ink while touching with the banknote by tips of the fingers. On the right upper part of ornamental frame there is the number “500" made by concealed printing, visible during refraction of rays of the sun or light. In the white field of the bank-note below the number “500" is and under it there is a continuous text “ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ МАРКАЗИЙБАНКИ", made by micro-printing and visible by magnifier.

Such line with the same micro-text is located on the upper part of the banknote as prolongation of ornamental frame. On the upper part of a white field there is the inscription “1999" indicating the year of issue. Below the inscription there is a rosette changing the tone of its colour from green to red depending on the corner of observation. Under the light of ultra-violet rays it is visible chaotically embedded in paper green and blue grains over all note and the right part of the frame plays over. On the left lower central part of the note there is the seven numerals number with two letter series of Latin alphabet made up in dark green colour. On the left of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan in three lines one under another the numerals “500" of different height shine. On the reverse in the centre of the banknote against blue background the sculpture of Amir Timur on the horse is drawn in dark red colour. On the blue background consisted of a quantity of thin lines disposed under the different inclination an anti-copy print “Х" is represented.

The blue background is edged by guilloche lines in the form of serpentine ribbon on the left and upper sides. On the right side of the sculpture it is depicted a multicoloured rosette with the ornament made in national style. Ornamental frames, sculpture of Amir Timur on the horse, the numerals “500" and “СЎМ" are made by the use of metallographic printing that gives sensation of thickness of ink while touching with the banknote by tips of the fingers. Under the light of ultra-violet rays it is visible chaotically embedded in paper green and blue grains as well as ornamental part and a background.

Regarding the issue currency of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 5000 so'm denomination. Since July 1, 2013 the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan will issue new banknotes of 5000 so'm denomination. Notes of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 5000 so'm denomination made on the protected paper, measuring 144 x 78 mm . On the wide white background, on the right side of the note there is a watermark in the form of State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the numeral "5000" .

On the left side of the white background the dove protected thread is located in the thickness of paper with a holographic effect . On the obverse of the note at the top there is the text «O'ZBEKISTON RESPUBLIKASI MARKAZIY BANKI». On the background of the ornamental elements on the left side there is State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 200 000 som Banknote of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The theme of this banknote is dedicated to the "Great Silk Road" and the ancient history of the Ferghana Valley in our country.

Size 152 х 69 mm.

On the right side of the banknote, on a light background, there are watermarks in the form of a camel as a symbol of the ancient "Great Silk Road" and the number "200000".

On the right side of the banknote, a 4 mm wide blue, micro-optical and machine-readable security thread that contains "shifting" effect and "UZB" inscription is passed on the paper layer.

The main color of the front and back sides is turquoise color, which is hormonized with other colors.

Banknotes are printed on protected paper, and the front and back sides are coated with a special varnish.

On the left side of the front of the banknote, there is a picture of the architectural monument "KHUDOYORKHAN ORDASI" located in the city of Koqan, Fergana region.

In the upper left corner is the number "200000", in the upper part is the text "O'ZBEKISTON RESPUBLIKASI MARKAZIY BANKI", printed in blue and green. Also in the upper right corner of the banknote, the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan is depicted in green.

A special green element, located on the right and left edges of the banknote, is designed for visually impaired people and due to the relief of the image makes it possible to determine the denomination of the banknote.

When viewed against the light, the light part of the banknote is combined with the colored background of the reverse side, forming a full-fledged image.

The banknote number consists of a two-letter series of the Latin alphabet and a seven-digit number. On the right side the number is printed horizontally, on the left side - vertically.

The reverse side of the banknote depicts the ancient archaeological monument "AXSIKENT ARXEOLOGIYA YODGORLIGI" dating back to the 3rd century BC, which was the capital of the ancient Fergana state.

In the center is the image of a "grenade", as a symbol of the well-known Kuva pomegranate. It uses a modern special protective element "Spark live", which at different angles creates the effect of movement and color change.

On the right side are ceramic dishes and an ancient talisman in the form of a two-headed snake, dating back to the 2nd millennium BC, which are archaeological finds in the Ferghana Valley.

The text “O`ZBEKISTON RESPUBLIKASI MARKAZIY BANKI” and the year of issue of the banknote “2022” are printed in the upper part on the left side.
