Expanded meeting of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is being held. 

As reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Head of the state visited the new building of the academy, commissioned on the eve of the 26th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The President of our country, visiting “Uzbekkimyomash zavodi” (“Oil, gas and chemical machinery plant”) JSC in Chirchik, got acquainted with new foundry and the project on organizing production of large-sized equipment.

As reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with digital radio stations, production of which has begun in Uzbekistan. 

Emomali Rahmon today received Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, who arrived in Dushanbe on a working visit.

On January 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the military unit in the city of Chirchik. Systemic work on educating youth in the spirit of patriotism is carried out in this military unit, which was reorganized by the Decree of the President of December 12, 2017. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On January 9, 2018, a meeting dedicated to effectiveness of measures taken on further development of information and communication technologies and ensuring information security was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
