The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Anwar Mohammed Gargash arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan “Peace process, security cooperation and regional collaboration”. 

On March 26, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States Thomas Shannon arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan “Peace process, security cooperation and regional collaboration”. 

The UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Tadamichi Yamamoto, arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan "Peace process, security cooperation and regional collaboration".

Delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vepa Hadjiyev arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan “Peace process, security cooperation and regional collaboration”. 

The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Aslov arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan “Peace process, security cooperation and regional collaboration”. 

On March 26, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Independence Day of Bangladesh.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in connection with numerous human casualties as a result of a fire in the city of Kemerovo. The Head of the state expressed sincere sympathy and support to people of Russia, families and relatives of the deceased.
