Addressing the event organized on this occasion, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Elmira Basitkhanova, Rector of Tashkent Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education Khabibulla Akilov and others noted that activities carried out in Uzbekistan in the healthcare system yields its practical results.

Delegation of the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) visited Uzbekistan, during which meetings were held with the leadership of ministries of Innovative Development, Investments and Foreign Trade, Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Development of Information Technologies and Communications as well as Tashkent State Technical University, higher education institutions of Samarkand and Bukhara regions.

On April 19 this year, within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in to Uzbekistan, the Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov and the Minister of Science and ICT of Korea You Young Min signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in science, technology and innovation.
