On October 22, 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman Mohamed Said Mohamed Al Lawati.

During the conversation the sides exchanged views on results of the 43rd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, which finished on October 19 in Tashkent.

At the meeting the sides discussed the proposals to strengthen the ties between the two countries and prospects of further development of bilateral cooperation.
