On October 21, 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Klakevich.

The sides exchanged views on the practical aspects of implementation of the agreements, which were reached during the high level Uzbek-Belarusian meeting in Samarkand on October 6, 2016. During the conversation the parties also discussed the schedule and the agenda of the upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels.
