A photo exhibition devoted to the 25th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence has opened in the palace of exhibitions of the Qoraphalpogh department of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The photo exhibition was arranged by the Qoraqalpogh state regional natural history museum under the slogan of “My life, my destiny – my sacred homeland, my beautiful and unique Uzbekistan” in accordance with the presidential decree dated 2 June this year “On preparations for the 25thanniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and celebrations of this holiday”. 

More than 30 photographs depicting large-scale creative work being carried out in the years of independence, today’s appearance of the country and the prosperous living conditions of its citizens are on display. 

“The exhibition serves to help bring up the younger generation in the spirit of love for the motherland, devotion to ideas of independence and the further enrichment of their thinking. The photographs portray the glorious path that our people have come in the course of quarter of a century and decent steps of independence. This is exactly what makes a big impression on viewers,” says Gulbahor Izentayeva, the Qoraphalpogh department of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
