Fazliddin Gaibnazarov won the gold medal at the XXXI Summer Olympics Games in Rio.

Our talented boxer beat Lorenzo Sotomayor Collazo from Azerbaijan in the final fight in the light welterweight category. 

Honoring our athlete, the flag of Uzbekistan was raised and the State anthem was played at the Riocentre. 

Uzbekistan with 4 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze medals finished 21 in Olympic medal table. Uzbekistan sports delegation is on the fourth spot among Asian countries, the second among CIS countries and the first among the Central Asian countries.
