"MEDIACAMP": A three-day training seminar for future journalists and bloggers was held in Bostanlyk

The project "MEDIACAMP" was organized jointly with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan (UZHMKU), the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan (NAESMI) and the Agency for Youth Affairs.

Within the framework of the project, UZHMKU students visited the "Khojakent" recreation area of ​​the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region and took part in a number of training seminars dedicated to the disclosure of the country's tourism, sports and cultural potential and the role of the media in this area.
 
 
The MEDIACAMP project was opened by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov and emphasized the importance of media representatives in creating the image of Uzbekistan, coverage of reforms and innovations in the country, great hope expressed to future journalists in this responsible task.
 
In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister focused on the opening of the “Travel journalism” direction at the Silk Road International Tourism University in Samarkand, which is aimed at promoting tourism and proposed to carry out a joint project “MEDIACAMP” between students of the two universities in the future.
 
Also, the event was attended by the chairman of the International Press Club, rector of UZHMKU Sherzod Kudratkhodzha and especially noted the importance of such trainings in increasing the knowledge and experience of young journalists.
 
Representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Temur Mirzaev, Shukhrat Isakulov and Umed Rajabov held training seminars for future journalists, explained to them how to develop the tourism and sports sector and what the role of the media in this direction is.
 
The 2nd year student of UZHMKU Tokhirova Shahzoda especially noted: “Media Camp has become for us, young journalists, a huge opportunity to learn something new, to reveal the secrets of how to become the best journalist, which we would not have learned from theories. The trainings were carried out at the level of professionalism, where they share not only knowledge but also energy. Also, in addition to seminars, sports competitions are organized. Before the start of the new school year, this project became a motivation to keep going. "
 
Within the framework of the project, it was also announced that students would be encouraged to prepare the best material on the development of the country's tourism potential, including the Bostanlyk region.
