On August 12, in Jizzakh, a meeting was held between the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S. Umurzakov with entrepreneurs of the Jizzakh region. The meeting was also attended by business representatives from Tashkent and Syrdarya regions.
The meeting was devoted to the discussion of applications from entrepreneurs received from these regions, and the course of implementation of practical measures to solve the identified problems. In particular, the issues of financing enterprises and initiators of investment projects, increasing the efficiency of using the potential of free economic zones, obtaining the necessary licenses and permits and other topical issues were touched upon.
The meeting participants also had the opportunity to voice their ideas and proposals for the further development and support of entrepreneurship. The ideas voiced were substantively considered and concretized, meaning the development of specific mechanisms to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs.
The importance of an individual approach to the study of each appeal was emphasized in order to identify the presence of systemic factors that create difficulties for entrepreneurship and the implementation of investment projects, and to develop effective measures to improve the business climate in the country.
It was also noted that the specialists of the Headquarters operating under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the collection and analysis of applications from entrepreneurs will continue to work on studying and solving the problematic issues and not a single appeal will remain without an appropriate response.
Following the meeting, the participants agreed on the need to create a permanent feedback mechanism to provide effective support to entrepreneurs in the implementation of projects, their production and export activities.
