A delegation led by the Commissioner-General of the Korean National Police Agency Kim Chang Yong and the Minister of Internal Affairs Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov visited the Samarkand region. They aimed to get acquainted with the activities of the DIA of the region.

During the visit, the sides exchanged the experience on the measures taken to combat crime and delinquency in Uzbekistan, particularly in Samarkand region.

The guests also observed the work carried out to combat crime and the created conditions for employers. The DIA of Samarkand region showed them the modern operational system "Situational Center", "102", built in the regional police department in the framework of the concepts of "Safe City" and "Safe Tourism".

Following the visit, the parties agreed that Uzbekistan and Korea would work together to implement the Action Plan ("Road Map") for Practical Cooperation in Public Order for 2021-2022.

Also, The DIA of Samarkand region demonstrated to Korean colleagues the practice of providing security at tourist attractions in Samarkand.
