Weightlifting: Adhamjon Ergashev won two bronze medals at the Asian Championships

The third day of the Asian Weightlifting Championship continued today. Fortunately, our compatriot Adhamjon Ergashev, who recently defended the honor of our country in the weight category up to 67 kg, completed his participation.
Although our compatriot failed the first two attempts in the exercise with weight lifting, in the end, in the last attempt, Adhamjon managed to overcome 140 kg.
In the snatch, our compatriot acted confidently and finished with 176 kg. This weightlifting earned him a bronze medal in the snatch and two types of wrestling.
The big gold medal in this weight category was won by the representative of China Lijun Cheng. In the end, he overtook his compatriot Minhao Huang by just a pound.
Asian Weightlifting Championship
Men, up to 67 kg weight category:
1. Lijun Chen (China) - 333 kg (153 kg + 180 kg)
2. Minhao Huang (China) - 332 kg (155 kg + 177 kg).
3. Adhamjon Ergashev (Uzbekistan) - 316 kg (140 kg + 176 kg).
Thus, the number of medals won by members of our team at the Asian Weightlifting Championship, which takes place in our capital, has reached five.
Let us remind you that in yesterday's program Ogabek Nafasov won silver (rise), and Muattar Nabieva won silver (rise) and bronze (two fights) medals.
