Tashkent hosts a Joint Meeting on Delimitation and Demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan State Border

On March 24-25, Tashkent hosted a joint meeting of the government delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the delimitation and demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan state border.
The delegations were led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Kamchybek Tashiev.
It was emphasized that the current meeting is held under the agreements of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov following the summit held on March 11-12 this year in Tashkent.
A protocol on a joint meeting of government delegations on the delimitation and demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan state border was signed following the negotiations.
The meeting was held in a spirit of openness, friendship and mutual understanding.
