In order to familiarize the general public with the purpose and content of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-677 "On Auditing Activities", developed to create an effective organizational and legal mechanism for regulating auditing activities based on international principles and best foreign experience, a round table was organized jointly with the Ministry of Finance and the Tashkent Financial Institute on March 1, 2021 with the participation of senior employees of the Tashkent Financial Institute, republican public associations of auditors, specialists of international audit organizations, faculty, and students.

The round table was devoted to the discussion of the purpose, necessity, essence, content and consequences of the adoption of the law, as well as the work carried out as a result of its adoption and the expected practical results.

At the beginning of the discussion, Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Finance Otabek Barakayev made a presentation on the need and importance of the adoption of this law. The main purpose of the law is to create an effective organizational and legal mechanism for regulating audit activities based on modern requirements and international principles.
