The Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Prime Minister of Hungary discussed a range of issues of bilateral relations

On February 16, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban received the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov, in Budapest, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in investment, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as the possibility of increasing cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.
They welcomed the opening of Uzbekistan – Hungary Trade House in Budapest, designed to further enhance trade cooperation, establish direct ties between manufacturers of the two countries and promote Uzbekistan and Hungary products to promising markets.
The Uzbek side expressed its gratitude to the government of Hungary for its readiness to support Uzbekistan in joining the World Trade Organization and obtaining the status of a beneficiary of the Generalized System of Preferences “GSP+”.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to introduce the practice of regular bilateral negotiations at the level of co-chairs of Intergovernmental Commissions to discuss the implementation of the reached agreements and to resolve issues of investment and trade-economic cooperation of mutual interest.
