Youth Parliament promotes young people’s political activity

A roundtable discussion on the role of Youth Parliament, established under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, in the implementation of state policy and current tasks for the future has taken place via videoconference.
Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva addressed the event.
Youth Parliament protects young people’s interests, discusses their problems in the Parliament, ensures young people’s participation in lawmaking, trains future deputies, members of the Senate, political scientists and directs young people to implement their goals and projects. The documents adopted by the Youth Parliament are of a recommendatory nature.
Youth Parliament Chairperson Mohistara Muhammadyunusova told about the upcoming work of commissions of this structure, plans, regulations and projects.
The need for establishing close cooperation between each Committee of the Senate and the Youth Parliament was noted at the event.
