An agreement reached with the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration to support citizens of Uzbekistan

Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Jakarta held talks with the Director of the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration R.I. Santoso.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation with citizens of Uzbekistan in Indonesia, who have to stay in Indonesian territory due to the suspension of civil flights during the pandemic.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on extending the period of stay of Uzbekistan citizens in Indonesia, who had previously arrived on the basis of a visa-free regime for 30 days. That is, Uzbekistan citizens will not be charged a fine for violating the relevant order of stay in Indonesia.
