3-4 July this year, first Deputy Chairman of Goskomstat Bahodir Mirusmanov examined the activities of statistical agencies in a number of areas and cities of Tashkent region, as well as ongoing monitoring of prices in the markets.

The first Deputy Chairman got acquainted with the activities of individual entrepreneurs working in the service sector in Tashkent, Zangiata, Yangiyul and Chinaz districts, as well as in the city of Yangiyul.

A working group was also formed to study the quality and reliability of information about price observations made using tablets, as well as monitoring in major shopping centers and markets in the region.

During the visit, the activities of regional statistical departments were also studied, suggestions and recommendations were given for their effective organization.

Additional recommendations were provided for the adoption of statistical reports

On July 3-4 this year, Deputy Chairman of Goskomstat Agzam Ikramov paid a working visit to the Samarkand region in order to study the implementation of presidential and government decrees, as well as the activities of regional statistical agencies in the formation of statistical indicators in the context of the pandemic.

During the working visit, A. Ikramov visited the statistical departments of Ishtikhan, Kattakurgan, Akdari and Samarkand districts and got acquainted with the state of the work done over the past period of this year within the framework of the State program of statistical work for 2020.

During the visit, instructions were given to apply effective methods of generating statistical data when making statistical reports on construction, trade, industry, investment, agriculture, fisheries and forestry.

The state of statistical indicators formation in the context of the pandemic was also studied. In this regard, relevant recommendations and guidelines were provided for the implementation of effective methods based on international recommendations in the formation of statistical indicators.

The state of preparation for the population census was studied

On July 3-4 of this year, Deputy Chairman of Goskomstat Makhmudjon Ziyadullayev paid a working visit to the Syrdarya region.

During the working visit, he got acquainted with the state of preparation for the population census, as well as with the activities of individual entrepreneurs in the provision of services.

In particular, the results of the survey provided relevant recommendations and tasks on the main factors that should be taken into account when studying household income and expenditure and generating data.

During the visit, the Deputy Chairman took part in observations with individual entrepreneurs in the service sector in Sardobin, Mirzaabad, Okolta and Gulistan districts, got acquainted with their activities and gave relevant recommendations. Also examined were the prices for fruits and vegetables on Bachinska, Sardobinsky and Syrdarya regional markets.

During the visit, special attention was paid to the implementation of the tasks set out in the law "on the population census", as well as the work carried out in this direction.

Issues of effective use of modern ICT capabilities were discussed

On July 3-4 of this year, Deputy Chairman of Goskomstat Zohijon Ziyaev visited the statistics Department of Kashkadarya region on a working visit.

During the working visit, the Deputy Chairman got acquainted with the ongoing work on the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on improving the statistical system, determined during the meeting on measures to improve the national statistical system, held on June 1 this year.

He also got acquainted with the state of use of information and communication technologies and existing problems In the Department of statistics of Kashkadarya region, departments of statistics of districts and cities, and gave appropriate instructions for their elimination.

During the two-day working trip to Kashkadarya region, relevant recommendations and instructions were provided on the formation of information and communication infrastructure in accordance with established standards, as well as the correct and effective organization of statistical surveys using tablets.
