On July 1, 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a videoconference with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India Santosh Jha, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The state and prospects of developing bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed during the conversation.
It was noted that Uzbekistan – India relations have reached a qualitatively new level and have become intensive, important agreements and results have been reached over the past year.
The sides also exchanged views on proposals for timing of upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels.
The Minister expressed gratitude to Santosh Jha for his personal contribution to development and strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
