Official statement: Quarantine measures continue

Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers, Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the country Nurmat Otabekov notes:
– The number of infected with coronavirus has reached 1054 people. According to the Scientific Research Institute of Virology, 27 patients out of 101 treated at the Institute's clinic have signs of pneumonia, the condition of four is assessed as serious, and two are relatively serious. Four patients’ condition out of 101 being treated at the Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases 101, is assessed as serious.
Quarantine measures continue in Uzbekistan. More than 81000 citizens are quarantined at home and hospitals. The number of violators of the quarantine exceeds 55 000.
