At the meeting with the khokim of the city of Samarkand Boburmirzo Oblakulov, the consistent development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Lithuania was noted. It was emphasized that special attention to strengthening ties between the regions of the two countries will be mutually beneficial for both sides. In particular, proposals were forwarded for cooperation and exchange of experience in tourism. The guests took part in the 14th international exhibition “Education and Specialty” in Samarkand.

 

The Lithuanian delegation became familiar with historical monuments and sights of the city of Samarkand. An unforgettable impression on the guests was made by the culture of the Temurids era, which has a special place in Uzbekistan’s history.
