Belarus – Uzbekistan Agrarian Forum and an exhibition of products of enterprises of the two countries has kicked off in Tashkent.
The forum, held for the first time in the country, is attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, representatives of about 70 companies, scientific institutions, mechanical engineering, processing enterprises operating in the industry.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Dvornik noted that trade and economic cooperation between the two countries has risen to a new level on the basis of mutual friendly relations between the leaders of the two countries.
With participation of Belarusian companies, more than 30 projects have been developed with a total value of over 90 million USD. Currently, these projects are being implemented in various regions of Uzbekistan.
On the first day of the forum, participants discussed cooperation issues, planned joint projects, as well as got acquainted with products of agricultural and mechanical engineering enterprises of Belarus.
