Almaty hosts a meeting of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Government delegations

On February 17-21, 2020, Almaty hosted the meeting of the Government delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Joint Demarcation Commission.
Draft final documents have been prepared on demarcation of interstate border to a site within Navoi region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adjacent to Kyzyl-Orda and Turkestan regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Commission approved the Action Plan for the preparation of draft final documents on demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan State border for 2020.
