Meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

On February 17, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Kang Jae Kwon, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The implementation of agreements reached within the framework of Uzbekistan – South Korea contacts at the highest and other levels, as well as proposals for a schedule of joint events this year, was discussed at the meeting.
The parties confirmed their interest in further enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, tourism, cultural-humanitarian and other areas, as well as strengthening legal framework for cooperation.
Views were also exchanged on certain issues on the regional agenda.
