Tashkent hosted a festive event dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defenders of the Motherland Day.
The greetings of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces and Defenders of the Motherland Day was read out by Minister of Defense B. Kurbonov.
The achievements of military athletes, their high results in international competitions were emphasized at the ceremony. Young people read quotes from the work “The Code of Temur”.
The event ended with a concert program with participation of a military orchestra of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, artists and young performers, amateur groups of the sphere.
