President meets with the Speaker of House of Representatives

The program of events of the third day visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Japan started with a meeting in the Lower House of Japan’s Parliament.
The Head of the state discussed issues of further development of Uzbekistan – Japan inter-parliamentary relations with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Tadamori Oshima.
The active work of the Parliamentary Friendship League of Japan with Uzbekistan was noted with deep satisfaction.
An agreement was reached on conducting joint activities to study Japanese experience of parliamentarism and expand mutual exchanges.
Following the meeting, the President of Uzbekistan presented the Speaker of the Lower House of Japanese Parliament with the first copy of the Constitution of Japan translated into Uzbek and published in Uzbekistan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also got acquainted with the main hall of the House of Representatives.
