Students from Uzbekistan studying in Japan receive Presidential gifts

Over five thousand students from Uzbekistan graduated from universities in Japan during the years of independence.

Dozens of young people from Uzbekistan study at one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Japan – Nagoya University.
 
On December 18, students and researchers of this university received gifts from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
 
The event was attended by the Chairman of Yuksalish Nationwide Movement Akmal Burkhanov, President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Bekzod Yuldoshev, Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Inom Majidov, Rector of Tashkent State Technical University Sadriddin Turabjanov.
 
Akmal Burkhanov noted that Uzbekistan is actively cooperating with Japan in education, as a result, many young people are studying in this country and showing their potential. Uzbekistan has high hopes for young people who are ready to introduce modern scientific achievements and high technologies in the future.
 
Students were solemnly presented with gifts of the President – modern computers.
 
“We express our gratitude to the Head of our state for the attention we have been given. We will return from Japan as highly qualified specialists and direct all our knowledge and experience to further prosperity of our country”, said doctoral student at Nagoya University, Umida Khusainova.
