Uzbekistan hosts Kazakhstan Medicine Days. The event is organized within the framework of the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan. Delegation of the neighboring state led by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Medical Science Yelzhan Birtanov attends the event.
Within the framework of Kazakhstan Medicine Days in Uzbekistan, presentations of the delegation of Kazakhstan on the ongoing reforms in healthcare in the country are being held. It is worth noting that the delegation includes representatives of different areas, such as neurosurgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, gynecology, neurology, reproductology, urology, traumatology and orthopedics, therapy and cell technology, nuclear medicine and radiation diagnostics, kidney and liver transplantation, as well as heads of medical higher education institutions, pharmaceutical companies.
At the panel sessions, experts from the two countries are discussing the issues of implementation of high-tech medical services in various areas of medicine, introduction of world technologies, digitalization of healthcare, development of the pharmaceutical industry and improving the quality of medicines and medical devices.
One of the important events of the Medicine Days is the ceremony of signing memorandums between medical universities, scientific and specialized centers of the two countries. Further cooperation will facilitate the exchange of students, experience, implementation of joint projects aimed at introducing innovative methods of diagnosis and treatment in the field of medicine.
Members of the delegation will visit medical higher education institutions and republican specialized centers of the country, become acquainted with the educational process, the use of modern innovative methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in Uzbekistan.
