The event is attended by representatives of ministries and agencies, creative and public organizations, officials of information-library system, students and teachers.

 

The week is organized to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the President “On the Program of comprehensive measures for development of a system for publication and dissemination of book products, improving reading culture” of September 13, 2017 and “On further improvement of information-library maintenance of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan” of June 7, 2019, as well as within the framework of five important initiatives of the President on development of youth spirituality.

 

Infolib Uzbekistan 2019 includes conferences, presentations of new books and other enlightenment events on “Reforms in the library sector – libraries of the new time”, “Information culture of schoolchildren”.
