Nanning hosted the 7th China – Central Asia Cooperation Forum, the goal of which is to further strengthen cooperation between China and Central Asian countries.
According to the SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov, in the current period of globalization, close cooperation opens the way for further development of countries, social stability and peace.
The forum was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, as well as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Singapore, Thailand, the SCO and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, Chinese specialists, scientists and experts.
Current state, prospects and plans for mutual cooperation were discussed at the meetings within the framework of the forum. Issues such as development of land and sea cross-border logistics, e-commerce, smart cities, establishing cooperation in a satellite navigation system, consolidation of women’s forces within the framework of Belt and Road project were discussed in detail.
China – Central Asia Cooperation Forum has become an effective platform for developing innovation, increasing the transit potential, establishing and developing strong relations between China and the countries of Central Asia, the SCO, and ASEAN.
