The State Committee on Statistics representatives take part in the high-level seminar “The Next Step in Statistical Cooperation” for the countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, which is being held in September 24-26 Chisinau, Moldova.

Representatives and experts from 11 countries are participating in this seminar. It exchanging views on the existing problems in the statistics system, applying innovative methods of census registration, access to administrative and other sources of information, application of new technologies for using big data, sustainable development goals and many other directions.

The first day of the seminar Delegation of Uzbekistan’s presentation on the “In the Republic of Uzbekistan Prospects for the development of statistical systems” was heard and activities and plans which is in recent years work done were discussed.

Participants are making presentations on this topic, discussing on the experiences of the countries and solving prospects of current problems are under consideration.
