On September 25 of this year, a meeting was held at the State Committee on Statistics with the participation of representatives of a number of international organizations, embassies of foreign states in Uzbekistan, employees of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations.

At the meeting, issues of cooperation between the State Committee on Statistics and international organizations were discussed.

During the meeting, it was noted the importance of assistance to international organizations, in particular, UNFPA in the preparation and conduct of a census of the population in Uzbekistan in 2022.

The parties voiced opinions on the priority areas of cooperation in the census and expressed hope for continued cooperation in the framework of the work.

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
